Westinghouse Digital Electronics Purchases CORE Flash™ Portfolio License

CUPERTINO, California – June 1, 2009 – Alliacense today announced that Westinghouse Digital Electronics LLC, has purchased a license to the CORE Flash™ Patent Portfolio from The TPL Group.

“The CORE Flash Portfolio Licensing Program continues its rapid growth, with Westinghouse Digital becoming the fourth new licensee this year,” said Bruce Sanderson, Vice President, Licensing for Alliacense.

The sweeping scope of applications using CORE Flash Portfolio technologies continues to encourage the world’s leading providers of end user products and services from around the globe to become CORE Flash Portfolio licensees, according to Sanderson.  He also stated that in the last eighteen months, ten global companies from the US, Europe, Japan, and Taiwan have purchased CORE Flash Portfolio licenses.
