Royal Consumer Information Products, Inc. Purchases CORE Flash™ Portfolio License

CUPERTINO, California – December 30, 2011 – Alliacense today announced that Royal Consumer Information Products, Inc. has purchased a license to the CORE Flash™ Portfolio from The TPL Group.  Royal Consumer Information Products, Inc. is a supplier of office products, accessories and supplies for consumer and small business markets.

This agreement makes Royal Consumer Information Products, Inc. the twenty-seventh company to purchase a CORE Flash Portfolio license, and resolves the ITC investigation and patent infringement lawsuit initiated by The TPL Group against Royal Consumer in October 2011.

About the CORE Flash Portfolio

The CORE Flash Portfolio contains intellectual property that was developed and productized by The TPL Group’s OnSpec Division.  The portfolio includes 32 U.S. and international patents and 9 patent applications.  CORE Flash Portfolio innovations protect key aspects of flash memory management and control, including software, firmware, hardware, and mechanical designs.
