Lexmark Purchases CORE Flash™ Portfolio License

CUPERTINO, Calif. – Sep. 10, 2008 – Alliacense today announced that Lexmark International, Inc. has purchased a license to the CORE Flash™ Patent Portfolio. Lexmark designs, manufactures and markets a broad range of printing and imaging solutions for professional and consumer customers.

“We are excited to announce that Lexmark has joined the CORE Flash Licensing Program,” stated Bruce Sanderson, VP of Licensing for Alliacense. “The Lexmark agreement provides strong recognition of the value and competitive edge enabled by CORE Flash innovations.”

Alliacense developed the CORE Flash Portfolio Licensing Program to serve leading system manufacturers and marketers of consumer electronics, computer systems, and printers, as well as retail digital photofinishing service providers, according to Sanderson. He also stated that licensing opportunities are being discussed with dozens of major system manufacturers and marketers worldwide.
