Lattice Semiconductor Purchases Xputer™ Portfolio License

San Jose, Calif. – August 15, 2014 Alliacense today announced that Lattice Semiconductor Corporation has purchased an Xputer™ Portfolio license from PACT XPP Technologies AG.

Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC) is the leader in low power, small form factor, low cost, customizable FPGAs, CPLDs and Power Management devices. The agreement makes Lattice the second major licensee of PACT technology after Xilinx.

In 2012, PACT made headlines when a jury found Xilinx products infringed several Xputer Portfolio patents. The court also found Xilinx’s infringement was willful. Xilinx purchased a license to the portfolio in 2013.
