Overview
-
Thunderbird Technologies develops fundamental design techniques for high-speed memories and high-performance transistor design. Thunderbird’s high-speed memory designs include improvements to circuit and associated transistor design. These innovations of visionary scientist Albert Vinal have become common building blocks in today’s electronics products. In 2007, Thunderbird Technologies and The TPL Group partnered to advance these protected, fundamental innovations as the FAST logic Portfolio.
-
The TPL Group is a “hot bed” of high technology development, productization, and licensing. For example, the TPL Group’s semiconductor technologies are brought to market via Alliacense and IntellaSys. IntellaSys specializes in developing distributed digital media semiconductor solutions including: multicore processors, Flash media storage products and content secure connectivity devices. With headquarters in Silicon Valley, IntellaSys operates seven design centers, three of which are in California as well as others based in Tempe, Arizona; Castle Rock, Colorado; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Vienna, Austria.
- The TPL Group is working with Thunderbird Technologies to commercialize FAST logic technologies, as well as to further development of Thunderbird’s innovative Fermi FET® transistor architecture. For more on Thunderbird Technologies, please visit http://www.tbird.com/.
